Mission Statement of IFCBC 爾灣華人第一浸信會教會使命

To reach Chinese and other non-Christians in the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through the public worship of God, preaching of Holy Bible, consistent Christina living by all members, personal evangelism, mission endeavor and Christian education,

藉著對上帝的公開崇拜，傳講聖經，信徒生活見證，個人佈道，宣教活動及基督教教育，向社區內的華人及其他非基督徒傳播耶穌基督的福音

To encourage believers who have accepted Christ, but are not members and do not worship regularly at any churches to join the membership of the Irvine First Chinese Baptist Church.

鼓勵那些己經接受基督，但尚未加入教會，也未固定在任何教會參與崇拜的信徒加入爾灣華人第一浸信會

To encourage Christians to devote themselves to the Lord and take root as member of the Irvine First Chinese Baptist Church.

鼓勵基督徒獻身給主，並在爾灣華人第一浸信會紮根生長

Ministries among members of other Christian church are not part of the goals and mission of the Irvine First Chinese Baptist Church.

爾灣華人第一浸信會的宣教目標不包括在其他教會會友中的工作

我們的事工 Our Ministry

Based on the Acts of the Apostles in Chapter 1 verse 8: "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, and the ends of the earth." We begin with local church and eventual expansion to everywhere on the earth. Our ministry within the local churches includes worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies for all ages, evangelism training and personal evangelism outreach, Christian education, financial and personal support of missions and missionaries and support of Chinese school, fellowship times within the body of the church, financial and prayer support for seminary students, religious broadcasting, publications, and religious institutions.

根據使徒行傳一章八節：「但聖靈降臨在你們身，上你們就必得著能力，並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地、撒瑪利亞、直到地極，作我的見證」我們從地方教會開始，最後擴展到世界各地我們在地方教會的事工，包括崇拜、禱告會、各年齡的查經、佈道訓練與個人佈道、傳褔音、基督教教育；對宣教和宣教士的經濟和個人支持；對中文學校，和團契的支持；對神學生，宗教廣播，出版和宣教機構財政和禱告上的支持�

Within means, the Irvine First Chinese Baptist Church shall support social needs of the local community, and provide appropriated services to the widowed, orphaned and impoverished.

若財務上許可，爾灣華人第一浸信會將支持本地社區內的社會需要，並對鰥寡、孤獨及貧民提供服務

目的 Purposes

1. � � � Inasmuch as the Lord Jesus Christ came to glorify the Father (John 17:4) so the purpose of this Church shall be to glorify God (Ephesians ).

正如主耶穌來是要榮耀天父(約17:4)，本會的目的是要榮耀神(弗1:12)

2. � � � Inasmuch as the Lord Jesus Christ came to make disciples (Mark ) so the purpose of this Church shall be to disciple persons in Christian belief and practice (Matthew 28:18-20).

正如主耶穌基督來是使人做門徒(可1:17)，本會的目的是要在基督教信仰和生活上使人做祂的門徒(太28:18-20)

3. � � � Inasmuch as the Lord Jesus Christ came to save sinners (Luke ) so the purpose of this Church shall be to proclaim salvation through repentance, forgiveness, and faith in Christ (Luke 24:47).

正如主耶穌基督來是要拯救罪人(路19:10)，本會的目的是要宣揚藉悔改、赦罪、信靠基督而來的救恩 (路24:47)

4. � � � Inasmuch as the Lord Jesus Christ came to serve (Mark ) so the purpose of this Church is to meet human need as resources are available (Matthew 25:31-46).

正如主耶穌基督來是要服事人(可10:45)，本會的目的是要盡我們所能的滿足人的需要(太25:31-46)
